Impact Report Q3

Between the months of July and eptember, our teams in southern Africa has made 59 arrests of poachers, buyers and sellers of illegal wildlife products.
17 October, 2022
This has led to the seizure of:
  • 3 weapons
  • 65 snares
  • 30 elephant tusks
  • 6 live pangolins have been rescued, 1 with a small baby.

The teams have also confiscated fish poison and axes to stop illegal logging.

Wildhood currently supports the employment of 175 female rangers, with another 45 women under training! Our 5 K9-dogs and handlers are strategically deployed in “hotspots” around southern Africa.

We would like to give a big thank you to our partners IAPF and Kilo9 Academy for keeping up the work in the field, you guys rock!
