Our K9-teams engaged in 7 operations with the police assisting in roadblocks, highway patrols and tracking suspected poachers. In total our dogs have spent 1080 hours on fence patrols alone!
Wildhood currently supports the employment of 245 female rangers. Our 5 K9-dogs and handlers are strategically deployed in “hotspots” around southern Africa. The work benefits 1715 locals and over 300 households. Thanks to our scholarships, 207 children and youths in villages surrounding the area we protect have been able to attend school this year.
Another quarter has come to an end and with it, the end of 2022. These results show the importance of our work and presence in the field.
Thank you to everyone who supported us during 2022, Every life matters!
